ABOUT THE ARTIST

Margaret Glew lives & paints in Toronto. Using a personal language of form and gesture, she makes intuitive, layered abstracts that are metaphors for the emotional landscape we all inhabit. She has been painting for the last 35 years. Glew’s work has been exhibited widely in Canada and the United States. She has been the recipient of several grants, and her work has been the subject of a number of essays. She is represented in a number of public and corporate collections in her hometown.
